I really like media as we find fun ways to break down and understand the different forms of media and how to best communicate messages through different media forms. I love the group interaction and the fact that what we study is happening in real life today. Media gives us tips on how to use equipment that are used in real media workplaces for example DSLR cameras, video cameras, and editing programs. I highly recommend doing Media!

Media is a great way to meet new people, get busy outside of the classroom, and learn valuable key skills and understanding about visual storytelling. It gets many conversations going about the world and gives you a clear insight on what it’s like to work on set. You learn a new skill during each class, whether it’s how to communicate in the best way possible, turn on a camera or how to edit. With the best teachers, class activities, it has been the subject where I have made some of my favourite high school memories. Media is definitely a worthwhile subject. (Imogen, Year 9 Media student)
